Cambelts
Many vehicles have cambelts, sometimes referred to as timing belts.
There are several things within the engine that can cause an issue including metal shavings in the oil resulting from wear from the cylinder head valves or oil leaks.
If your cambelt fails, it can quickly lead to other problems so it’s advisable to get it resolved quickly. Your vehicle manufacturer will have advice on how often it should be replaced but on average it will be every five years or between 50,000 and 75,000 miles.
Get in contact and we can book you in for a check or a Cambelt replacement.
